Neil Rafferty, an openly gay Marine, won the race for Alabama's House seat in District 54 Tuesday with an overwhelming 90% of the vote. Many are lauding him for his victory — even Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy.

The athlete took to Twitter Wednesday to respond to the news over the hunky Marine's win.

"I have another seat for him," he wrote, adding a bearded man face emoji.

Of course, the tweet got lots of attention, including over 5,000 likes and several comments.

Kenworthy made headlines earlier this week when he urged fans to vote Tuesday with...an enticing offer.
