"RuPaul's Drag Race" continues to prove that it is TV gold.

As reported by Deadline, the Friday season 15 finale on MTV, which saw Sasha Colby take home the crown, closed out the strongest season yet for the show in three years.

The finale episode "delivered a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 entertainment demographic," according to Live+same-day Nielsen data. The rating was a 17% increase compared to the season 14 finale. The last episode also had the highest audience share ever for a "RuPaul's Drag Race" telecast.

In January, season 15 of "Drag Race" also had its highest-rated premiere in six years with a 0.63 in the demo. After the long-running series moved to MTV from VH1 this season, it experienced a ratings spike. Similarly, it experienced a ratings spike after initially moving from Logo TV to VH1.

Fans of the show took to social media to congratulate Colby on her win and Mama Rue on an expertly executed season, including season 14 winner Willow Pill.

"Sasha Colby winning while nearly naked is so beautiful," she wrote. "Right now, censoring ourselves to make the masses more comfortable will only teach us to cower. Sexuality and nakedness is about agency, consent and freedom. It's time to be queerer and wilder than ever."

"WTF DID I SAY!! QUEEN MUTHA💜
@sashacolby," wrote another social media user in celebration of Colby.

Adding to this season's broken records, season 15 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" was also considered the most social season in series history, Deadline reports, with gays and gals of all interests gathering around to watch the show.

Condragulations, Rue!
