The moment Barbie fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. The newest trailer for Greta Gerwig's upcoming "Barbie" just dropped, with nearly three minutes of bubble gum-pink joy, and fans will be able to hear a cover of Aqua's "Barbie Girl" song.

As reported by IGN, Aqua already established that the original version of their song would not be used do to some legal bindings. However, the cover hits just as good, putting a fresh coat of paint not the anthem for a pink-tacstic film.

The trailer sees a happy Barbie thriving in her pink world with Ken and all the other Barbies and Kens. But it when strange occurrences begin, she sets out on a quest into the real world where she is a toy and not a person. The journey forces her to confront the things that make her different from human beings.

In the real world, she experiences sexual harassment, a jail sentence, and is mocked by school children, all while being pursued by Will Ferrell in the role of an evil corporate overlord.

With Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Helen Mirren, John Cena, Nicola Coughlan, Alexandria Shipp, Emma Mackey, America Ferrera, Ritu Arya, Michael Cera, and many others, rounding out the cast, the looks like it will be great fun when it hits theaters July 21.

Adding to the fun is the soundtrack for the film, which features the who's who in pop music acts, including Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Ice Spice, Charli XCX, and even Ryan Gosling, reported Rolling Stone.

Mark Ronson served as executive producer for the soundtrack, which also features Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Pink Pantheress, Khalid, Ava Max, Karol G and more.
